Keegan's Green Thumb. And The Sprinkler.

Keegan has spent most of his free time outdoors as of late. And Mommy is perfectly ok with it! He absolutely LOVES helping plant and water flowers and checks on recently planted things every morning and night. We are hoping they survive the frequent water he insists in providing.

We also made HUGE strides the other night! Anyone who knows our little dare devil knows how much he loves despises the sprinkler. Last summer Mommy got multiple pictures from day care of Keegan hiding in the corner of the yard screaming because he wouldn't go anywhere near the sprinkler. Funny..but annoying. This summer Mommy's goal was to master the sprinkler no matter what it took. A Spiderman sprinkler was kind of the thought to entice him but the other night while watering the grass in the front yard Keegan asked if he could go play in the sprinkler. While it was warm it isn't quite "sprinkler weather" but since Mommy knew he wouldn't go near it Keegan was told to go for it. Much to Mommy and Daddy's pure amazement he stripped down and went for it! He was timid at first (but mind you, he was timid while actually getting wet which was waaaaay better then last year!) but soon learned to run through it and..gasp..even get his hair wet! Needless to say Judy was overjoyed to get a picture of the fun and we can all breathe easy knowing summer will be a tad more fun this year!

Not much in other news...Keegan continues to function in one speed--HIGH--and doesn't stop going until bed time. Or talking for that matter. It may be a problem when he asks to play the silent game because he's been asked to play so many times....

This is night #2 of sprinkler when he decided he needed to be totally naked to play in it...followed by a naked bike ride

Woooooo fun!!!

Another new love...water balloons! This summer is looking better and better!

First night of discovering the sprinkler isn't a death trap...

New jammies!

Water gun fight!!

Keegan and Mommy hit up the first weekend of the Farmer's Market and picked out some flowers!

We celebrated Kona's 3rd birthday...not sure why Keegan is the one that scored the candy necklace....

Blueberry plant!

A Keegan sized strawberry plant....Mommy has doubts we will ever see growth

Watering the strawberries...

Planting the strawberries..

Another great find..."ice cream popsicles!!"

Oh Cooper, we didn't forget about you! Somewhere around 27 weeks

Keegan is going to his first baseball game this weekend with Daddy while Mommy goes to the Market to Market race...sadly no racing will be done by Mommy this year but so much fun is had she has to go along! She is also sure Daddy and Keegan have something spectacular planned for Mother's Day...stay tuned to find out what...
