Prodigy..like mommy like son

Keegan may or may not be a soccer prodigy....he DID score 5 goals in his last game...we shall see how t-ball goes as he starts that next week!

In other news...there isn't much news. Cooper turned 10 months and of course there has been no picture taken...so expect that about the time he turns 11 months...

He received a medal at his last game..which he proudly wore for about 3 days straight

Biggest Fan!!

Keegan and Daddy decided to have camp out in the living room...

..it lasted all of 2 hours before they came upstairs, Keegan unable to sleep..which Mommy found out later was because Daddy wouldn't turn his computer off and the light was bugging him!

Loves stairs, hates gates!

They Are Back!!

...those blue eyed blonde haired boys are back! Excuses aside, clearly Mommy took a blogging break. Since our last post, Keegan had a birthday and started soccer (and loves it!), Cooper turned 7 months..and 8 months..and 9 months! He is crawling, pulling up, taking a few assisted steps, and eating like a grown man! There is no way we could talk about all that has happened, so enjoy a few pics from the last few months.

Happy Birthday, Keegan!!!!

Finally, a reason for Mommy to buck up and upload some pictures for a blog! This one will soley focus on the big event...drum roll please....Keegan's 4th Birthday!!

It is absolutely unreal that our first born baby boy is 4 years old today. Seriously...as Kenny Chesney would say..."don't blink"..suddenly that 8 pound 4oz baby full of chub and rolls is a little boy begging to start kindergarten.

Keegan has really come out of his shell over the past year. A once timid, extremely shy mama's boy is now an outgoing, people loving, brave mama's boy!

Mommy could go on and on about how great Keegan is, how smart he is, how he can write his letters, do simple addition, and spell simple words, and how proud she is of his sudden love for jumping in a pool and paddling around...but instead we will leave you with a few fun facts and some pictures!

At 4 Years Old....
*33ish pounds and 38ish inches (we will find out next week at his 4 year check up..what we do know is that he is a tiny peanut!)
*size 4T clothes and some 3T pants/shorts
*size 10 shoe
*loves drawing/coloring, going to the park, swimming, doing worksheets, and playing with Cooper
*talk non stop...seriously..one story fades into the next and at some point we are pretty sure you talk just to hear your own voice..in fact you have at times been removed from the lunch table at Judy's due to excessive talking and Mommy has been told "good luck at kindergarten parent/teacher conferences"
*just finished up taking tumbling, which you loved, and are excited to start soccer in a few weeks
*are a fanstastic eater loving things like eggplant, mushrooms, and broccoli..and of course the staples like grilled cheese and chicken nuggets!
*are still a mama's boy..which is fine mostly..but at times gets to be a little much..however Mommy is certain there will be a time she will yearn for that mama's boy...
*are growing up WAY too fast....slow down baby boy!

Keegan woke up on his big day to balloons hanging from his doorway!

He was SO excited..and ran out yelling "it's my birthday!"

Time for presents!

Nerf Gun!

Out to a birthday breakfast at Village Inn...a funny face pancake!

Cooper got in on the fun tasting some eggs and pancakes for the first time!

Nothing better then a birthday on a Sunday with all day to hang out and roll around with your best friend

This part 1 of 2 of our recent life...Mommy decided Keegan deserved a blog all about his birthday. Coming up in a few days we will relive the children's museum, vacation to Branson, and outdoor fun!

Happy Birthday, Keegan. You light up a room with your huge personality and fun loving spirit. Mommy and Daddy couldn't have hand picked a more perfect first kid! You are ridiculously smart and so loving and caring towards other people. We can't wait to continue to watch you grow up and see you succeed in whatever you decide to do....and we are hoping your goals change from "staying home alone to watch netflix!" We love you, sweet Keegan!

Happy Groundhog's Day!

Keegan and Cooper aren't actually celebrating Groundhog's Day..but we did just learn there is 6 more weeks of winter thanks to that little creature...ugh!

Keegan and Cooper have been up to their ears in fun lately. Keegan is taking tumbling on Saturdays, they have got to visit friends/family, and they are spoiled rotten at home!

                                                    Stretching at tumbling!
!

Working on the balance beam last week!

First trip bowling=success!

Typical lovable, smiley Cooper

Playing with his tracks is a family affair these days

Which one is needier...honestly

Handstands!

Frozen peaches...1st time loved them...hates them since

Mommy-Cooper shopping trip!

Day care provider by day, fun party thrower by night

Saying "I like mommy's bacon, I don't like GG's bacon"..mommy for the win!

The bond they have already is crazy...love watching them make each other smile!

Santa remembered he forgot the helmet for the new bike...so he made a special trip after Christmas!

Adorable :)

Finding a way to get where he wants to go...ends up all tangled up...and still smiling :)

Cooper got to attend an all day seminar with Mommy...he was soo good and spent hours playing on the floor next to Mommy's table!

While Cooper and Mommy were at the seminar, Keegan got to spend the whole day with Aunt Megan!!! She made great plans for them and they went to eat at Chik-fil-a, complete with the play place and an ice cream cone, and then went to "Wonderscope" which is a huge place with tons of activites for kiddos. Keegan LOVED it and is still talking about all the stuff he did! Mommy has pictures from Aunt Megan but can't figure out how to get those on the computer...so rest assured, he had a blast all day! He got to see Kynnedy at the of the evening, which was an added bonus.

After a nerve racking 4.5 hour trek home from KC, Keegan woke up to snow to play in!

Cooper opted for indoor play

Keegan soon deemed the snow "too deep" and came inside for some board games

Mommy was trying to get the upstairs vaccuumed and heard Cooper crying...came down to Keegan taking his computer over to calm him down...seriously the best big brother ever

Cooper agrees--what luck to have Keegan as a big brother!

Tune in soon for more tumbling and every day fun from Keegan and Cooper!
