The Past 3 Weeks

We sincerely apologize for the lack of blogging..mommy has no excuse aside from being lazy and a crappy blogger!! A lot has happened to Mr. Keegan the last few weeks. His dad became a doctor, he had his first Easter, and he has had tons of visitors! Keegan is doing great, 6.5 weeks old now! He is weighing a little over 10 pounds and an unofficial almost 23 inches. He has mastered smiling at people and today gave Kona a smile after a puppy kiss and gave mommy a smile after she gave him medicine--musta tasted good!! The past 6 weeks have sure flown by and we are so amazed you can love a little guy so much!! On to pictures....

Sorry for the lack of captions, we figured pictures were the most important part!! Today ends a big part of mommy and daddy's life--we are moving to Omaha tomorrow. We are sad to leave Kansas City as we LOOOVE it here but are certain good things are coming in Omaha!!

Oh, and mommy PROMISES never to go so long between blogs again!!!

Mouse & Mommy's Road Trip

Mouse. Mommy's new nickname for Keegan. People are constantly commenting on his "squeaking" noises he makes so we thought mouse was a fitting name.

Keegan's 1st long road trip was successfully completed this weekend...but not without testing mommy's patience!! The 5 hour treck to Grandma and Grandpa Fraune's was fairly easy and uneventful, however the trip back to Kansas City took a bit longer..with a bit more crying..and several more stops. And a lot more caffeine consumed by mommy. We made it.

The weekend was a great one as Keegan got to meet his cousins Jace & Lexa for the first time. Jace LOOOOVED little mister while Lexa was unimpressed..especially when her mommy felt the need to hold Keegan!

Aside from meeting his cousins, Keegan did a lot of his normal stuff..sleeping, eating, & pooping. He got to meet his cousin Ashlan and hang out with some fabulous aunts, too.

Keegan is 4 weeks old today and to celebrate we had some professional pictures taken. Here is a quick sneak peak.

This weekend is going to be a busy one for our little man as his daddy and Uncle Jordon graduate from chiropractic school. Keegan will get to see lots of family and friends and will surely have tons of pictures to show from the weekend!!!

To Grandmother's House We Go...

Keegan and Mommy are taking their first road trip this weekend to Grandma and Grandpa Fraune's.  Daddy is going to be out of town with a friend so we figured this was as good as time as any! We promise to take lots of pictures over the weekend and show everyone what a great baby Keegan was all weekend...fingers crossed.

This past week Keegan had his 3 week check up. He finally gained weight and is somewhere around 8 lbs 9 oz. We think he has grown almost 2 inches since birth but he won't be officially measured until his 1 month appointment. Keegan continues to do great, he sleeps a lot (which is great) but every day is awake a little more. He tends to have an hour or 2 of alertness around 9:30-11am and then again in the afternoon and for a short period before bed around 7. He takes his longest nap in the afternoon around 2:30 and generally will sleep until 5:30 or so. At night he is like an alarm clock, waking up every 3 hours (almost on the dot!) to eat. Usually he is great and falls right back to sleep when he is done, however there are the occasional hours of refusing to do so!
