Birthday Fun.

Keegan had quite the birthday. He started it with mommy taking the afternoon of his actual big day off work and they went and had a play date (complete with snack and a trip to the park) with his friend Ali, and he finished the celebration with a party on Saturday. Mommy & daddy are thinking of investing stock in storage totes as toys are spilling out of the house.

Keegan had such a great 1st birthday! He is growing and changing soooo much every single day! He says mom "ma", cup "cu", Kona "ko" "hi" bottle "baba" and a few more. He can point out several objects in books and can point to his belly, his feet, and occasionally his head. We had his 12 month check up yesterday and he is 21 pounds and 30 inches. Mommy would have guess more due to the massive amount he eats but luckily he has mommy's metabolism. (wink wink). This coming weekend is finally a "stay at home" weekend and Keegan and Mommy have big plans including a play date with twins who are just 2 weeks older!

Happy Birthday to our special, adorable, lovable baby boy, Keegan. We can hardly believe it has been a whole year since we first saw your tiny body and got to hold you for the first time. From the day Mommy & Daddy have met you we have been head over heels in love--and somehow the love gets bigger every day!! Your smile lights up the room and your giggle melts everyone's heart. And finally...swinging on his 1st Birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday Keegan!! You are an amazing 1 year old with such a big personality! You LOVE to eat. Your favorites include peanut butter & jelly, sausage, any and all fruit, zucchini, and oh so much more. You are completely attached to your blue blanket and give people a "look" if they so much as touch it. You sleep from about 7:00p-7:00a and take  a nap from 12:30-3:30. You aren't quite walking unassisted but if you have something to push look out! No real words yet, either, but you have recently developed Keegan language. We have a video (to be posted later) to prove it! What an amazing blessing you are and we feel so lucky to watch you grow and change every day. We love you!!!!

1 Year Ago....

1 year ago mommy thought Keegan was going to make his grand entrance today! Mommy's water broke at approximately 9am on March 14 so logically (and being that there is 15 hours left in the day) Keegan would arrive today! Keegan proved showed his stubborn side (which he continues to show today) and decided to wait until March 15. Anyway, we thought we would share some of Keegan's last moments before he turns 1!
