"W"

"W" is Keegan's favorite letter. How does one pick a favorite letter? Mommy sure doesn't have one. I guess maybe if I had to pick one I'd go with "W" too..."w" stands for "weekend". Anyway, the point is that Keegan loves the letter "W".  Lately he has been obsessed with learning his letters, and while he can point out a good chunk of them, if he isn't sure his go to is "w". And when he gets to the actual  "W"...well it may as well be the weekend he gets so excited! Mommy tried to get a video of this but failed....moving on...

Keegan spent the weekend in Iowa visiting his cousins, Jace and Lexa, and Aunt Cari and Uncle Doug, and Grandma even came to visit! He had so much fun and is still talking about all of them!


Mommy had the day off on Friday so her and Keegan took off mid morning and stopped for lunch on the way! Keegan even talked his way in to a cookie

Upon arrival the 3 became fast friends again....Keegan loves spending time with them!

Monkey Drinks! Or something...Keegan's mommy isn't cool enough to buy stuff like that but that's what aunts are for!

 Keegan went to his first "bounce house" where they have toys galore and jumping houses for you to play in

 Later on, Grandma showed up! Much to Keegan's delight....and everyone went out to eat and out for ice cream!

 The next day Keegan got to go swimming at a hotel...however no pictures were taken. Sorry people, but think about it...a camera in a pool? With Keegan? Not gonna happen

After swimming Keegan went out for blueberry pancakes and eggs (yes, we eat a lot around here) and played outside all afternoon

 He is STILL talking about Grandma's kisses! The whole ride home.."gramma...kisses.." and repeat.

 The weekend wore him out. He slept for 3 hours on the ride which is unheard of anymore!

In other, unrelated news, Keegan's other favorite people to hang out with are Faith and Charity. Mommy and Daddy are friends with their mommy and daddy so they get to see each other a lot. Keegan relates eating pizza to them....again..we eat a lot. Last week he went out to eat at Chili's with them...yes...we ate again. The kid is growing like a weed we have to keep up!

This is just prior to him and Faith opening the emergency door and setting off the alarm....angels.

The end. This coming weekend Mommy heads to Iowa to run in the Market to Market. It goes from Jefferson to Des Moines and she is part of the relay team "Pavement Princesses". There is sure to be lots of fun, laughter, eating, pants wetting pictures to come next week! Happy Early Mother's Day to all you wonderful mamas!
