Summer.

Keegan has been lovin' him some summer time lately! The weather has been great ( I mean aside from the crazy storms, hail that shattered our basketball hoop, and horrible tornadoes too close for comfort) and he is enjoying every second!

New obsession with basketball...we practice dribbling on a daily basis

Painting with sidewalk paint...which inevitably gets walked through on the way in the house...excuse the yellow spots on the carpet now

Keegan talked Mommy into a pool...ok so it wasn't that hard considering swollen ankles (and everything else for that matter) are in the very near future!

Keegan and Mommy at 34 weeks with Cooper on our way to his big brother class! He absolutely loved it! He got to learn how to properly hold a baby (wash hands, scoot back in chair, support head, etc), he made a "toy tester"--decorated a toilet paper roll and anything that fits through the tube is too small for baby, watched a video, answered LOTS of questions (made mommy already proud picturing him in kindergarten!), and got to tour the mommy/baby floor of hospital and see where everything happens.

Saturday Mommy and Keegan hit the pool for the first time this summer....Keegan made a new friend (not pictured, but this is where they spent 2 hours), and thanks to peer pressure ran through the water spouts, stuck his head in them, and did whatever she did. All the while Mommy sunbathed...just the front of her body. Oops.

Reapplying sunscreen on a break

Keegan got to participate in the 2nd half of Mommy and Daddy's date night! After dinner with some friends Keegan got to head down to an outdoor concert where they had face painting!

Hanging with Landon (his parents were Mommy and Daddy's date night buds!)

After the concert we all decided we needed ice cream

Sunday Mommy got lots done in the nursery...and Keegan decided to test out the Boppy!

And that's a wrap! Keegan is heading to Kansas City this weekend to celebrate Aunt Megan's graduate with her Master's--go Aunt Megan!! Mommy has vowed to make the most of the rest of the summer and do as many fun things with Keegan as possible before Cooper arrives...this means lots of pictures of pool time, park time, zoo time, and whatever else Keegan says he wants to do!!
