Just one of the highlights from this year's Iowa Market to Market which Mommy & Cooper participated in over the weekend. The quote is compliments of Cousin Tracy and is somewhat similar to the Shamrock Shuffle 2 years ago...also by Tracy..ahem no more comments.
Anywho, the Market to Market was the Pavement Princesses 3rd race and deemed to be just as fun as the first 2! While Mommy (and Cooper) only ran 3 miles of it this year (as opposed to the 14 and 12 ) it was still a day full of fun, food, laughs, and potty accidents.
In other news, Keegan blessed Mommy with a WONDERFUL Mother's Day. We went to Church and then out to brunch with some friends, grilled out and played with Cousin Kynnedy, and ended the day hiding in the basement during a tornado watching "Frozen" and eating ice cream popsicles.
Enjoy the pictures..in no particular order as they were uploaded from a phone!
High on ice cream popsicles!
Playing with Kynnedy...pardon the blurriness it happens when you zoom on the phone
This kid was SO excited to give Mommy the present he made at day care...he was squealing, jumping up and down, and has re-given it to me about a 100 times, each time calling it "my surprise" (it is a tuna can with painted clothes pins hooked on and a candle in the middle)
After the 3 mile leg...28 weeks preggo!
Aunt Cari scored us a sweet 1 bedroom house to stay in the night before the race...it was cozy and cheap but did require mattresses in in the kitchen to house us all
No race is complete without wine and chocolate!
Mommy & Keegan had a pizza date last week
Unfortunately Mommy didn't get too many pictures during the actual Market to Market race. Rest assured, the Princesses looked good the whole time!
To end things...a few of Keegan's latest one liners at the most appropriate times:
During Church on Sunday: (loudly) "Mommy, when is your belly going to open so Cooper can come out?!"
"Mommy don't go shopping, take a nap with me because you love me"--seriously who is going to say no to that??
"I'm never playing with you ever ever again!"--we hear this multiple times a day if Keegan is told anything remotely close to no
There's more..Mommy needs to write them down as he says them....Until next time!
