Keegan Lately...

Life in Keegan's house is pretty standard--play a lot, argue about playing with mommy's phone a lot, eating, sleeping, and peeing. But wait..peeing..in the POTTY! Whoot whoot that's right folks Keegan has mastered the art of peeing (and pooping) in the potty. After a 1am demand by Keegan for mommy to "change my diaper, it's heavy, I peed to much" Mommy decided that was it, no more diapers. So that's what we told Keegan, and lo and behold he was cool with it. We have had very few accidents and 1 very proud owner of some new spiderman undies! Way to go, Keegan!

Note: initially we were bribing Keegan with suckers if he peed--now we are working on unbribing as this kid pees a lot and there is no way to brush his teeth enough for the amount of suckers he has consumed!

Keegan took a trip with Mommy to Des Moines for a baby shower for her friend, Mindy and baby Cora. Keegan got to hear all kinds of stories about Mommy and meet another kiddo, Elle!

Keegan got to go out to eat at a new restaurant (thank you, groupon) and gorged on the most yummy mac n' cheese ever!

Potty training includes not leaving the house...so Keegan got to have lots of outside time..as well as putting up our mini pink tree a little early!

First Creighton Volleyball game..(or any sporting event)

Other then that excitement, Keegan went to see Santa. He was so so so excited to meet him and tell him what he wanted for Christmas but now states "I don't like Santa." Maybe next year. He does love the idea, however, of Santa flying through the sky (with presents), landing on our roof (with presents) and coming down the chimney (with presents).

The rest of the Santa trip was a success (and actually he saw him again at Bass Pro Shop and did manage to tell him what he wanted and give him a high 5) and Keegan proves to be his Mama's boy loving everything about Christmas! (well, except Santa)

The kid loves his popcorn!

Finally, Keegan got to help decorate for Christmas. He loved hanging ornaments (although he found 1 branch he loved and Mommy had to do some damage control, the poor branch couldn't hold the 15 ornaments he stuck on it!)

Don't forget Kona! Mommy is sure he loves Christmas, too!
