Cautiously Optimistic

Mommy and Daddy (& Keegan) are cautiously optimistic that we are going to be homeowners in August! We have found the perfect place to call home and it took Keegan all of 30 seconds to fall in love with the backyard....so cross your fingers nothing (else) goes terribly wrong!

Mommy has 2 favorites to the house...the kitchen and the backyard! We took a few pictures at the inspection with our phones so pardon the glare and blurriness....

In other news...Keegan is still as cute and ornery as ever. He is becoming quite the little boy that we daily find ourselves pleading with, bargaining with, and bribing. Luckily, thus far he is fairly easy to compromise with. He hasn't been up to a whole lot but did log his first few days in the pool!

Happy Father's Day!!

Keegan is wishing all those old handsome men in his life a very Happy Father's Day!! A big shout to to Grandpa Gary, Grandpa Fraune, his Great Grandpa's (because he is lucky enough to know them!!) and of course, his own Daddy.  Keegan LOVES spending time with each and every one of you and wishes he could all of you more often.

He spent the weekend with his own Daddy mostly just hanging around. He went to the park, played outside a lot, went to a splash park (fail, same as last summer, still hates sprinklers), shopping, and did some grilling out. He also got to meet his new baby friend, Kinsley...who just might be a future girlfriend...that is if she goes for older men!

Keegan has yet to climb out of his crib in the middle of the night...but Mommy does catch him like this often in the mornings

Keegan was so excited to head to the pool for the first time this year...only to find it cloudy and disgusting and not mommy & daddy approved...so we hit the splash park instead

     We ended the weekend grilling hot dogs and having yummy summer food to go with it!

Happy Father's Day all you men out there!! Keegan is so lucky to have the Daddy he has and, well Keegan--Daddy loves you to the moon and back!!

Since We've Been Gone...

Yes, we took a break from the blog. No, it wasn't on purpose. Yes, between working full time and keeping up with Keegan-- Mommy does get behind on life sometimes. No, we are not that sorry. Moving on.

Keegan has been busy lately. He had a visit from Great Aunt Rita, a play date and good bye party for his friends, Charity & Faith, and a visit to Mommy's hometown for Grandpa's birthday and to honor Great Uncle Doug's father's passing. Whew.

And that completes the last few weeks. No promising on less time between blogs this time, but darnit we will try. Father's Day is next weekend so surely Keegan has something great in store for his rock star Daddy!!
