Update...

Mommy does realize it's been awhile since we've shared any news/pictures....not too much news to update on. Keegan spent some of the weekend last weekend in Kearney with Daddy and some friends--and he had a blast! He rode tractors, dug in dirt, and played with his friend, Emma. We do have some pictures but will be shared next time, in the NEAR future. For now, enjoy the few randoms we have...

 Mommy got to meet up with some college friends and see Kenny Chesney!! This was Mommy's 8th time seeing him, and 6th with her friend Ashley! (on the right of mommy)

 We started out in the nosebleeds but after some good luck ended up just a few feet away from the hunk!

 Keegan was a good sport and paraded around town going to open houses with Mommy & Daddy...he found a front porch swing he refused to leave!

 Keegan loves to say "cheese" and smile for the camera...we are starting to capture that "fake" smile!

There will be more pictures soon, they are just on multiple phones/cameras and for the moment Mommy is unwilling to upload them all. Stay tuned!

Happy Birthday, Grandma! (and mama)

Keegan would like to send hugs and kisses to Iowa for Grandma's birthday!! He wishes he could have celebrated in person but via blog will have to do!

Here You Go, Grandma....

Mommy was informed this morning that Grandma (who apparently had a boring lazy Sunday) checked the blog and...get this....there wasn't a new one!!! Grandma recently got a new tablet for her birthday (thank you Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Cari, Uncle Doug, and Grandpa F.) so she's new to this blog thing....and since it's one of the few things she can navigate to we promised to update frequently. So...enjoy!

 Keegan also had a fairly lazy Sunday and enjoyed a bowl, or 2, of goldfish crackers

 Keegan has been sleeping late the last week or so (knock on wood) and Mommy has had to wake him up at 8 for day care....then he does this....wants to lay in bed and read books!

He kept asking Mommy to take a picture of his glasses, so she obliged (she is SURE we were at a stop light and not driving)

 He and Mommy stopped at the outdoor mall quick and he needed to stop and smell the flowers

There hasn't been too much new with little man lately....he continues to make us smile with his goofy, loving personality. Check back next week as it's....wait for it..Mommy's BIRTHDAY! Keegan is sure to come up with a super present for her....right, Daddy?!

Spring....finally!!

We FINALLY had some decent, actually beautiful, weather!  Keegan is an outside man and had a smile on his face all weekend with the sun shining and temps at 70 degrees!

His weekend fun started Friday night with a spontaneous outing to the Amazing Pizza Machine with his friends Faith and Charity. It is similar to Chuck E. Cheese..but WAY cooler and WAY better food! Think buffet with pizza, pasta, tacos, chicken strips, salad, desserts, etc...basically Keegan's idea of heaven. Anyway, we ate and then had a blast playing games and riding rides!

After a late Friday night, Keegan slept in and was woken up by Mommy on Saturday so she could go run. He got to go hang and eat donuts with his friends again while Mommy's friend, Jody, graciously offered to let him play there while Mommy ran around the lake..he had so much fun he didn't want to leave when it was time to go!

Following the run/play date Mommy & Keegan set off for a day at the zoo. We stopped for lunch at McDonald's first and Keegan experienced his first Chicken McNugget meal!

This year Keegan LOVED the petting zoo! He pet goats and saw all kinds of fun things!

 He would rather climb in and hang out close to the cow..or whatever that big thing is

 Although Keegan did uncover some bones, he was content just filling and dumping out the bucket

Last summer was fun at the zoo, but this year was so different and SO much fun. Keegan loved everything and knew all the animals and was requesting what to go see next! 

Keegan didn't get much of a nap due to the zoo trip and conked out at 7:30 Saturday night....and didn't wake up until almost 9:00 on Sunday! Sunday consisted of pancakes, shopping, and lots and lots of snuggles and playing...we are definitely sad to see the weekend end!
