Mommy is home today with a sick Keegan :( So what better to do then put up a blog?! We don't have a whole heck of a lot of pictures to share but a lot has happened lately. Keegan FINALLy got his new baby cousin! Miss Kynnedy Bo was born August 24 at 4:31 am....her mommy was a bit luckier then Keegan's with a short 4 hour labor.

This weekend is going to be a busy and fun one for Keegan has his Nana & GG are coming to town. The zoo, some BBQ, and plenty of time with Baby Kynnedy are going to keep him busy...pictures to come!
Mommy thought it would be fun to throw out a few of Keegan's likes/dislikes and funny mannerisms. She does realize it would make more sense to do it in a few weeks at 18 months (more of a milestone, you know) but since the motivation is here today..here ya go. (Oh yea, there will be pictures to follow!)
Keegan Loves: mommy (duh) and daddy...his blanket...watching Thomas the Train dvd...taking Kona for walks while he holds the leash...books...saying "go!" and running (well, sort of running)...bananas and blueberries...baths...meal time in general...going on runs with mommy in the jogger...giving hugs and kisses..dancing/stomping one foot to music
Keegan Dislikes: strangers trying to talk to him...brushing his teeth...being patient while mommy cooks...being told "no"...being woke up in the morning...wearing long sleeves...and most recently long car rides and going out to eat at restaurants
Mommy realized as she was typing this that it was much harder to think of stuff he hates...that outta be a good thing, right?! In general, Keegan is a happy fun loving guy as long as everything goes his way. Which at time his hard, but darnit we try our best.
Currently Keegan weighs about 24 pounds and we are unsure about height...32-33 inches?? He is in 18 month clothes and some 24 months shirts and a size 5/6 shoe.
He adds new words daily, however has a short list of favorites: mommy, daddy, owie, done, ball, go, eat, and of course animal sounds
Enough with the blah blah blah about our spectacular child that does no wrong...on to the fun stuff...

Keegan got to hang with his cousins this past weekend at the zoo! He had a great time (well, as long as mommy allowed him to be eating) and thought Jace (spiderman) was hilarious! He gets to go see them again this weekend, for the whole weekend, while mommy has a baby shower for a college friend..poor dear is having twin girls!

He can climb. He can swim. ("swim"). He can run. He can throw. Folks we are looking at a 2028 Gold Medalist. Event yet to be determined. Mommy is sure of it. She just knows Keegan will become some sort of star and when he is drowning in gold medals people will be saying "michael who?". (phelps.)
Anyway. When Keegan hasn't been in training, he has been growing! Well, we think. He has been on some sort of marathon sleep schedule which leads us to believe he is adding inches.
Keegan got to meet his newest gal pal Emma this weekend, too! His Godfather, Cory, and his wife had little Miss Emma Grace 8 weeks ago and he finally got to meet her!! She sure was something sweet and he loved her..as long as Mommy wasn't holding her. Might have to work on that.

As usual, Mommy didn't medal in picture taking this week. Keegan continues to let his fun loving, huge personality shine through and we are loving every minute of it!
