Mommy doesn't have anything clever, witty, funny, you name it, to say. Soooo enjoy some pictures from the last week or so! They include a weekend with Grandma & Grandpa Komp in Salina and a baby shower for Aunt Erinn!

Decided to let little mister try a popsicle to help his poor EIGHT teeth coming in...it was ok until he grabbed the actual popsicle with his hands..and it was cold...ending with a meltdown.

End of pictures. Mommy & Daddy took Keegan swimming tonight after work but unfortunately we didn't take any pictures. Keegan is warming up to the big pool though and enjoyed his new turtle floatie!

15 Months....and a week

Keegan turned 15 months..almost a week ago! Keegan headed to see his pediatrician (who he is somewhat skeptical of after all the ear digging we have done in the past 2 weeks) this past Tuesday. The news? Healthy, Happy, & Naughty!! Not in that order, either.

Keegan is a whopping 22 1/2 pounds (which he has been stuck at since 13 months, mommy thinks it is due to the fact that he doesn't know what sitting still is!). He is 31 inches tall and his head is 18 inches. Whatever that means. He has a nice head?

At 15 months Keegan has been amazing mommy at the amount he learns every day. He is walking/running everywhere. Crawling?? That is SO last month! Some other fun facts about K at 15 months:
 
   -sleeps anywhere from 10-13 hours at night...as far as naps go..at day care he takes a 2-3 hour nap and      a home usually takes 2 naps totalling 3ish hours
   -still loves eating..favorites include pb & j, all fruit, avocado, and broccoli
   -is still mostly intolerant to dairy...for now he's drinking coconut and almond milk
   -wears size 18 month clothes and size 4-5 shoe (this is in case any of our blog fans are wanting to send gifts)
   - doesn't have a lot of words but is trying to repeat more and more daily...he does say mama, dada, ball, and a few others fairly clear.
  -signs like a pro! he signs "more", "please", "eat", "all done"..mommy just started working on "book". he also uses these to get whatever he wants..ie coming in the kitchen, smacking mommy to get her attention, and signing "eat"
  -is still attached to his blue blanket and for nighttime loves snuggling his elmo
  -refuses to watch tv/movies. much to mommy's dismay at times.

We could go on and on about our boy but we will instead leave you with a photo or 2 to brighten your day!

Keegan is heading to Salina this weekend so Mommy can participate in his Aunt Erinn's baby shower!! He is sooo excited to have another baby cousin...he has been seriously into babies lately. Pictures from the weekend to come!

Happy Father's Day!!

Keegan would like to give a shout out to all the great daddys out there....including but not limited to Grandpa Gary and Grandpa Fraune and of course his favorite Daddy of all..his own!!

Keegan spent the day going out to lunch with mommy & daddy, swimming at the pool, playing outside with Kona, and just being his happy go lucky self. He was even lucky enough to have breakfast just him and Daddy because Mommy went out last night and hadn't quite drug herself out of bed yet. Whoops.

Another new favorite...his puzzle! Although it seems he likes carrying the pieces around in a ziploc bag more then actually doing the puzzle...he does fairly well when he gives it a shot!

Upon checking on little man before bed the other night we discovered he chose not to keep his pants on...luckily he kept his diaper on!

Always wanting to help! It now takes a heck of a lot longer to clean the house!

That is all we have for you. Mommy realized today that she has been slacking on the pictures lately...we promise to try and do better this week! Keegan has his 15 month check up on Tuesday so we will report back the healthy stats!

Goofy.

Sometimes Keegan is just plain goofy. He makes us all laugh and smile with his loving, happy personality!


The bank in Hy-Vee was handing out balloons...if only Mommy would have gotten a picture of his face when he got it--priceless!

In truth, this wasn't Keegan being goofy. This was Mommy. Being hilarious.

                              Poor Kona. Always being loved and hugged on. Even naked.

Keegan wanted his sunglasses on. Then he wanted his toothbrush. Finally he tried to add in the itsy-bitsy spider. Real life was much funnier.

Just wanted to share some fun Keegan moments!  Mommy spotted 2 top molars that broke through today and a bottom one that is trying to rear it's ugly face. Yay!!

Love.

Every time mommy looks at Keegan she just loves him a little bit more!! Anyway, enough of the sap. Keegan had a visitor this weekend--Great Aunt Rita all the way from South Dakota! In honor of her visit, everyone loaded up and took a trip to the Omaha Zoo. Keegan had a blast and absolutely loved looking at all the animals. Mommy declares the fish/aquarium his favorite.

Mommy is allowing everyone to make up their own commentary for the pictures as she is getting sidetracked with the Miss USA pageant!

Keegan went with mommy and daddy to have dinner with friends and got to play with Aiden!

Keegan had a wonderful weekend and as usual mommy is dreading the whole Monday thing. (ie work and day care).  Toodle-Loo!
