In His Element...

In honor of Father's Day, Keegan decided to go hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Fraune. While there he let loose and was truly in his element..as photographed by mommy..

For anyone who is around Keegan frequently..or ever...knows that he is quite the spitter upper. Grandpa got to experience it first hand! (if you're wondering what the heck we are talking about look closely at the projectile from Keegan's mouth to Grandpa's arm!)

Other then the occasional..or not so occasional spitting up, Keegan had a great time in mommy's neck of the woods.  When he wasn't sleeping or eating (which was about 90% of the time) he was smiling and talking to everyone and anyone who would listen!

That's all for now...at Keegan's last weigh in he weighed right close to 13 lbs..and after his weekend growth spurt we are pretty sure he has surpassed that mark..he is growing like a weed!! Happy 14 weeks tomorrow!

3 Months Old!!

Happy 3 month birthday to our baby boy!! Mommy has loved every minute of the past 3 months..well maybe not loved EVERY minute..but  darn close! Here is our little man at 3 months...

Family O' Fun Weekend

His cousins Jace and Lexa were in in town for the whole weekend and Grandma & Grandpa Komp stopped by for a visit, too!

Keegan would like to give a big old Happy Birthday to Grandpa Fraune!! He doesn't get to celebrate with him, but can't wait to see him again!!!

In other news...

Our little booger has discovered sleeping in. Well "sleeping in" until 6:30-7:30ish depending on the day. Mommy finds this annoying because she's now back at work and gets up every day an hour early to get ready and have an hour to play with the little guy...however he chooses to sleep. So mommy twiddles her thumbs in disgust. Hence the 6:30am blog. (We are willing to bet that tomorrow Keegan will be back to getting up at 5:30 since mommy doesn't work until noon!)

The past few weeks have been relatively uneventful. Keegan continues to poop, eat, and sleep. He rolls over occasionally as he pleases, chews on his hands CONSTANTLY, and babbles all day long. Mommy has a fear he might be "that kid" that never shuts up!



 Get the kid naked and its instant smiles...daddy will be having a talk with him about that in a few years

Keegan was 12 weeks old as of this past Tuesday..where has the time gone!?  Keegan and mommy are both adjusting to the whole "mommy working" thing but he has had a great few days with daddy all to himself! Keegan is expecting a fun filled weekend with lots of family coming to visit. He will get to see his Grandma and Grandpa Komp, his cousins, and his Great Aunt Rita at the beginning of next week! He will be swimming, going to the zoo, and who knows what else...check next week for pictures!
