The Impossible

It seems we have seen the impossible. Mommy never realized in a million years this sort of stretching and growing was possible. We have officially hit the 32 week mark...only 8 more weeks to go! (Although mommy is desperately hoping for more like 6.5-7 more weeks).  Keegan continues to grow...which in turn makes the belly he calls home grow...and is as active as ever.

While this picture is self explanatory, a humorous story seems appropriate. While in Omaha for the weekend, mommy was in the shower at the hotel and dropped the shampoo bottle. Upon bending over to pick it up, a seemingly growing by the minute behind hit the faucet and turned the shower off. Sigh. 8 more weeks. Or more like 6.5-7.

For good measure, this is what it's like to be big brother Kona. It has obviously been a rough day of eating, pooping, and playing with his rope.

Hopefully only 1 more belly picture at 36 weeks before we meet our little man!! Mommy fears the worst if we must take a picture at 40 weeks..no one needs to see that!

Handsome Little Thumb Sucker

We went and and had Keegan's first photo shoot..a 3D ultrasound at 29.5 weeks.  He proved to be quite the looker with adorable features (if we do say so ourselves).  He is doing awesome and remains to be extremely active with little sleep during the day..and night! These pictures just made us fall even more in love with the little man and can't wait to meet him in 10.5 weeks..or less!

He spent much of his time sucking his thumb and hands....as seen in picture above!

So there you have it..our last peek (hopefully) at Baby Keegan before he arrives..10.5 weeks and counting!!

Hello 3rd Trimester!

We have finally hit week 28 which is officially the 3rd trimester.  Keegan seems to be doing great, he is a VERY active little boy and I have even gotten to shove his hands/feet back down a few times so they weren't bulging out! They say their sleep/wake patterns are similar to those in the womb, which is scary as it seems he has no sleep pattern..just a wake one! Only time will tell

Mommy at 7 months/28 weeks

Amidst the fun of graduation and the holidays, we have squeezed 2 baby showers in. The first one was thrown by friends of mom and dad from chiropractic school and the other by Keegan's fabulous great aunts! Keegan got so much awesome stuff and we are very thankful for all who participated!

Mommy and Keegan went to their 28 week check up today. Luckily we passed the gestational diabetes test (so more cake can be consumed guilt free!) Mommy was measuring 30 weeks, a little ahead, so hopefully that means we get to meet our little man sooner!!

We decided to have a 3D/4D sonogram done next week so check back to determine who Baby Keegan will look like!!
