Converting to the Other Side..

The dark side some might say.  Daddy and the Komp family are working hard on getting mommy turned into a hunter. Tho she hasn't killed a deer, she's on her way to a stellar target shooter.

Graduation/Christmas gifts from Keegan's Grandma and Grandma Komp (aka Nana & G.G)..a pink rifle for mom and a new bow for dad.
(You may be wondering if we realized how white trash we looked..a pregnant wife with her husband and weapons...we are aware)

Good form!

His new toy..an assault rifle..yes..I said ASSAULT RIFLE.  There will be a locked gun cabinet in the house. Possibly without a key.

On to Keegan news..his nursery is in progress

Notice the thrilled look on Kona's face..he has no idea  what's in store in a few months..
That's all for now...Christmas #1 is finished and we are off to Iowa for Christmas #2...check back in a few weeks for a shocking photo of mommy at 28 weeks!

24 Weeks, 1 Year, and a Sick Dog!

Yup that pretty much sums up the last few days!! Baby Keegan has officially been a resident of mommy for 24 weeks...and a wonderful 24 weeks it has been! I love feeling him kick and punch and flip around on a daily (hourly/minutely) basis. I sure am ready to meet the little guy but I will miss having him with me all the time!

Mommy at 24 weeks

Please refrain from commenting if it is a gasp, an "oh my", a "are you sure you still have 16 weeks?" "is it twins?!" or anything similar! (not that I have experienced any of these)

Mommy and Daddy celebrated our 1 year anniversary (December 5 if anyone wishes to send cards next year.) We went out to dinner on the plaza to have an added bonus of the Christmas lights. We had a great time and dinner, however $70 and an hour later poor Daddy was still starving. We had to hit up a gelato place afterwards for a sweet tooth fix!

Throughout all of this excitement poor Kona has taken ill. He had a guys weekend back home with Daddy complete with deer hunting, gun shooting, and off roading in a truck. Somehow amongst it all he caught a bug and upon returning home immediately projectile vomited the last few days of dinner. He took a couple personal days to lounge on the couch and luckily as of today is back to his normal chipper self!
He could be milking this juuuust a little!

Thats all for now! Tune in next week for footage of mommy becoming Dr. Erin Komp!!!
