Two. Nearly.

The title says it all. Keegan is getting closer and closer to turning 2...and we are seeing flashes of the "terrible twos" off and on. Lately more "on". Mommy found herself wondering if Keegan spending 59 of 60 minutes in time out was cruel....not when it's a question of sanity she decided.

It isn't all bad. Really. Lately Keegan has been a super snuggler (well, with Mommy) and he is so much fun to hang out with (providing you are doing what he wants, when he wants, & where he wants!).  He has been learning a ton, continuing to love Thomas, on to a new love of Curious George, and is proving to be funny guy as he now calls daddy "Tom". The hysterical giggles of Mommy didn't help the matter so now after he says it he also breaks out in giggles. Seriously though, it's funny.

Lazy Bones...

Mommy has been a bit lazy with the blogs lately. Each and every night the thought crosses her mind to wow the world with new pictures and stories of Keegan...and each and every night she decides the world can wait just one more day.

Not that the world, yet again, couldn't have waited one more day....but it's a fairly boring night. So enjoy the pictures of Keegan's recent adventures!

Keegan on New Year's Eve...this is how he and Mommy spent the evening..until 7:30 when he was asleep and 9:00 when she was asleep...we partied hard!

Last weekend mommy & Keegan decided to get some fresh hair and hit the zoo

Seriously, we could have watched the monkeys all day. The one on the rope was flinging himself into the window and down onto the other dude...and then looking and the crowd...and repeat. We watched for a good 30 minutes and Keegan cracked up the whole time. A good mommy would have a video.

Keegan came down with a cough and nasty cold so mommy made him some special chicken & rice soup

That's pretty much it for Keegan's last week or so. He had his first truly nasty cold which set him back 4 days including staying home from day care on Monday. While Mommy didn't mind the extra snuggles (and there were A LOT), we aren't said to see his sad, tired eyes turn back into cheery and happy! Keegan doesn't have anything planned for the upcoming weekend but rest assured Mommy will come up with something oober exciting..tune in!

Happy Birthday, Jacer!!

Keegan wants to give his cousin, Jace a big Happy Birthday shout out! Jace turns 6 today!!

Keegan is a lucky kid to have a cousin like Jace around!! Mommy only wishes (and realizes it is a totally unrealistic wish) that Keegan be as kind, sweet, generous, and patient as Jace at 6 years old. Nope...looking like Keegan is taking a bit more after cousin Lexa...more on that later.

Before something else goes wrong enjoy the pictures....they include Thanksgiving (yes, back that far), Keegan's 1st hair cut (by now he's also had a 2nd) Christmas with Daddy's family, Christmas with Mommy's family, and a trip to see Keegan's Godfather and his family....oh and also a memory of the day Keegan went under the knife for tubes in his ears!

Finally, a Blog....Standards Lowered

  Well a blog from an actual computer is finally here. After hours of attempting to upload, move, export/import pictures...they have been added to the blog. Unedited, of course, because clearly it is impossible to get your pictures from your phone to a place on the computer for editing. Hmph. Enjoy these 2nd rate pictures!

Keegan absolutely loved everything about the Christmas season..the lights, the music (especially Jingle Bells), the tree, and of course..the PRESENTS!! He learned that word fast, and loved opening them as well as handing them out..followed by jumping and hand flapping while he waited to find out what was inside!

Keegan is going to be sorely disappointed in a few days when the tree disappears and Mommy begins to refuse to sing any more Jingle Bells or Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer..the only songs allowed before bed at the current time. 

Anyway...enjoy the pictures!

So there you have it. A bunch of pictures from a phone with no editing. Hmph. Technology. Anyway, Mommy & Daddy loved seeing pure joy on Keegan's face this Christmas. Nothing is better then seeing your baby's eyes light up when the see a Christmas Tree or get to open a present. Keegan continues to steal our hearts and make the world smile!
